Welcome to Driven By Light.

My name is Michael Gabriel Toro, and I am the person behind Driven By Light Photography.

Photography, to me, is much more than a job or a hobby. It is something I genuinely love doing with all my heart. Every time I pick up a camera, I have the opportunity to capture something that can never be recreated exactly the same way again — a moment, an emotion, a machine, a place, a feeling, or simply a beautiful part of God’s creation.

That is what makes photography so meaningful to me.

I also see my passion for photography as something connected to my passion for God. My faith is an important part of who I am and why I do what I do. I’ll be honest — there are times when keeping that passion and connection with God strong can be difficult. Life gets busy, circumstances change, and sometimes I struggle just like anyone else. But even through those moments, I continue trying to find my way back to that light and keep moving forward.

That idea is a huge part of what Driven By Light represents.

Photography Is Art — And Art Takes Time

I don’t believe photography should feel rushed.

That’s why we don’t put a strict time limit on our photoshoots.

A photoshoot shouldn’t be about watching the clock and trying to finish before the timer runs out. It should be about creating something meaningful and taking the time necessary to capture it properly.

Whether we’re photographing a person, an automotive build, a building, nature, a landscape, or something completely unique, I want to take the time to find the right angle, the right lighting, the right composition, and the right moment.

Because sometimes the difference between a good photograph and an unforgettable photograph is simply giving the art the time it deserves.

Your Ideas Matter

Photography should never be limited to someone else’s imagination.

If you come to me with a creative idea for your photoshoot, let’s talk about it and make it happen.

Maybe you have a concept you’ve been thinking about for months. Maybe you saw something somewhere and want to create your own version of it. Maybe you have an idea that has never been done before.

I’m always open to hearing it.

I want the people I work with to feel like they are part of the creative process — because the best photographs aren’t always created by the photographer alone. Sometimes the best ideas come from the person standing in front of the camera.

Starting Small. Dreaming Big.

Right now, Driven By Light is a small company.

And I’m proud of that.

Every big dream has to start somewhere.

My goal isn’t simply to build a successful photography company. I want to build something much bigger — a company, a creative community, and a brand that can reach people everywhere.

I want Driven By Light to grow beyond photography and become a place where creativity, passion, faith, individuality, and inspiration can come together.

I want to capture stories.

I want to create art.

I want to inspire people.

And most importantly, I want to spread the light and the spirit behind this brand to as many people as possible, wherever they may be.

Because everyone has something they’re chasing.

Everyone has something that keeps them moving forward.

Everyone has a reason to keep going.

That’s your drive.

And whatever guides you forward — whatever gives you hope, purpose, creativity, or inspiration — that’s your light.
